Ministerial Changes
The new Education Secretary, Michael Gove, is now in place, heading the renamed Department for Education (formerly Department for Children, Schools and Families), which assumes responsibility for education and children's services.
Other key Departmental appointments have been announced:
Minister of State for Education - Sarah Teather
Junior Minister for Children – Tim Loughton
Schools Minister - Nick Gibb
